Why is Rivercrest ISD
Having a Bond Election?
This bond package was put together in a collaborative effort to address aging facilities within the district. After several meetings with the board of trustees, community members, and financial advisors, it was decided that a bond in the amount of $23,000,000 would be put before the Rivercrest ISD community to be voted upon on May 4, 2024. With the addition of solar farms being constructed within the Rivercrest ISD district, the district’s tax base will more than double, giving the district a unique opportunity to receive additional funds that can be used for renovations and repairs.
